Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop Is Now Selling Rapper-Inspired Clutches

There are many layers to Gwyneth Paltrow, and that includes her musical tastes.

While it is well known that the Oscar-winning actress was married to Coldplay singer Chris Martin, her love of rap music is something that is often overlooked. Although she has revealed that her children referred to Jay Z as Uncle Jay, the unlikely friendship between Paltrow, Jay Z and Beyonce is not as documented as it should be.

Paltrow is know turning her rap aficionado into a collaboration with Edie Parker on her website Goop. The lifestyle site, which is often accused of being out of touch and elitist, is exclusively selling two of Parker’s ‘Flavia’ clutches with the names of some of the biggest rappers in history.

On one black clutch, Jay Z’s moniker HOV is embellished in silver on one side while on the other there is Eminem’s nickname ‘Shady’ in gold. Another in bright blue has Pac and Biggie on either side, for a East Coast/ West Coast match up that many hip hop fans would find sacrilegious.

However, if anyone can bring rival hip hop fans together it is Gwyneth Paltrow. And just like most items on her site, these clutches don’t come cheap. They each retail for about $1,695.
