Is a Caitlyn Jenner/Kris Jenner Fashion Faceoff in the Works? (Plus: More I Am Cait Can’t-Miss Style Moments)

We’ve already established how much Kris Jenner loves a good Fashion Faceoff — she’s gone up against Derek Zoolander, Justin Bieber and even her own daughter Kim on multiple occasions. Could a match-up against Caitlyn Jenner, be next? It seems likely; after all, Caitlyn’s got an identical Tom Ford dress to Kris hanging in her closet, the onetime winner of the Olympic decathlon loves a good competition — and her reaction to competing against ex-wife Kris is priceless.

In the premiere episode of I Am Cait, Caitlyn welcomed stepdaughter Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West into her home for some fashion advice. She showed Kim her new designer pieces sent from the likes of Diane von Furstenberg (who sent her three outfits) and a Tom Ford dress Caitlyn “loves.” (Fashion houses are “dying to dress the star“, if you haven’t already guessed.)

As soon as Kim mentioned that Kris owns the same Tom Ford design, Caitlyn was completely on board for the Fashion Faceoff. “Who wore it best? Oh, we got to do that,” exclaimed Caitlyn. “It’ll be the funniest thing ever.”

Kim said she’ll suggest that Kris wear it to dinner one day (she loves Kim’s style so no doubt she’ll oblige) and Caitlyn can plan to stop by in the same design. And if you’re like us (that is, not patient enough for the actual run-in) Kris wore a very similar dress at a 2012 event, meaning the Faceoff may look a little something like this.

Other style and beauty highlights of the first episode came with another drop-by from one of her children — Kylie Jenner, who wanted to see how her line of hair extensions would look on Caitlyn. And Kylie’s parent was totally game for trying a new (teal!) hair style, even joking, “Isn’t this more fun than sitting around talking about sports or watching golf?”

Caitlyn also explained that she had “no problem” with Kylie accepting her transition. “After the first five minutes, it’s like, ‘Alright, it’s Caitlyn, big deal.’ ”
