Bank Employee Fired After Dropping Over $100K Into River

Think you’re having a bad day at work? At least you aren’t this guy.

An employee of a bank in Austria was canned after dropping 90,000 euros (nearly $117,000) in cash off a bridge into a river, Agence France-Presse reports. The man was transporting the money between branches when he stopped to fix a flat tire and placed the bags of cash on a steep slope, then watched in horror as the money fell.

As for the cash, police told AFP that it would be “absolutely senseless” to search for the money, given the tricky mountain terrain and waterfalls along the river.
