David Beckham Has a New Fragrance – and Poses Shirtless to Celebrate

Want your guy to smell like David Beckham for Valentine’s Day? Now that’s a possibility thanks to the brand new cologne the star just added to his fragrance arsenal.

His latest scent, David Beckham Beyond, embodies his confidence and go-getter attitude with the tag line, “It all starts with a dream.” And with notes of grapefruit, black pepper and leather, it’s just as sexy as you’d imagine his namesake would be.

Beckham says that while creating fragrances was not originally on his list of goals, he “jumped at the opportunity because I’ve always been interested in them.” He adds that he’s “really proud of the work [Coty and I] have done together over the last 10 years.”

As for naming his latest scent, the footballer explains dreaming big is part of his mantra.
“Having a dream is something anyone can relate to,” he says. “Whether you’re young or old, we all have dreams. I’m no different and I have always carried a lot of passion into what I do, but that means you have to work hard too. If you love what you do and work hard at it then special things can happen.”

Beckham adds that he’s proud of what he’s accomplished in his career and in his personal life.
“Captaining my country was probably the greatest achievement in my playing career,” he shares. “But really my family is the biggest accomplishment I have. I’m so proud of Victoria and my children — they’re my greatest achievement.”

But outside of the soccer world, there’s a lot that PEOPLE’s 2015 Sexiest Man Alive hopes to accomplish — including helping his children reach their goals.
“There’s a lot I want to achieve now from building my business, to my work with UNICEF through my 7 Fund especially,” he shares. “And of course as a father I now want to help make my children’s dreams come true.”
His best advice for fans? Working as hard as you can can to get where you want to be.
“It’s all about loving what you do and working really hard at it,” he shares. “There will be tough times but if you have the right attitude and keep working hard amazing things can happen.”
