Lil Durk Tweets About Def Jam Putting His Mixtape on Hold (@lildurk_)

Lil Durk was set to release his “F*ckery” mixtape, but Def Jam had other plans and told the rapper to put the project on hold for now. The Chicago rapper shared the news on Twitter, writing “DEFJAM told me not to drop a mixtape 🙁 [sic].” The tape was scheduled to hit the web on Jan 5. 

Earlier this year, Angel Haze went around her label to release her album “Dirty Gold” on Sound Cloud after being promised that the project would come out in 2013, only to have it on hold. Check out Durk’s tweet in the above slide and let us know what you think:
