Say What?: Ja Rule Writing A Cookbook Following Prison Stint
You ever read something on the internet and it’s so out there that you literally stop everything you’re doing to learn about it? That’s how I felt about this story. Time Magazine is reporting that following his completion of a nearly two year sentence in prison, Ja Rule is writing a cookbook. Why exactly? Because he feels that he became an expert on microwaved meals in the clink and needs to share with the world. I’m dead serious.
The 37-year-old rapper, who was born Jeffrey Atkins, served almost two years behind bars for tax evasion and attempted criminal possession of a weapon. While he was inside, the food was not to his liking. This dissatisfaction forced him to prepare his own meals using the tools he had on hand, namely, a microwave. “He explained that while behind bars he learned to cook anything and everything in a microwave,” an anonymous insider told the New York Post’s Page Six, claiming that included everything from lasagna to cheesecake.
Wait, wait, wait. You can make a CHEESECAKE in the microwave?? I don’t know if that’s brilliance or evidence of Satan being alive and well in the world today. I honestly think I would buy this, just to be in awe. How about you? Will you be hitting up Barnes & Nobles for this?Similar Posts:
