White Woman Beaten by 4 Black Teens in Racially Charged Assault

A Pittsburgh woman by the name of Ginger Slepski was badly beaten by a group of four 16-year-old Black teenage girls in Pittsburgh’s North Side on Sunday, August 25th.  Ginger said the group threw a soda bottle at her car, and when she got out to question them about their motivation for randomly assaulting her vehicle, she was met with a very violent response.  

The girls allegedly grabbed Ginger by her hair and threw her to the ground, where they kicked her repeatedly and beat on her as many people watched.  Apparently, one woman threatened to call the police but Ginger claims that only made the beating even worse.  

“I thought it was so animistic. So violent. I’m so afraid for these girls to get out and walk the streets.”

Eventually a man jumped in and pulled Ginger away from the group.  She was left with many cuts, bruises, and scratches on various parts of her body, and she suffered torn ligaments in one of her shoulders.

The four girls were arrested and charged with ethnic intimidation.
