Tonight’s Met Gala function will serve as the debut of Adriana Lima and Marc Jacobs’ new collaboration. The American fashion designer will launch a new fragrance for women this fall called Decadence, which is presented as the bizarro-opposite to 2007’s scent — Daisy.

For those unfamiliar with the popular brand, Marc Jacobs’ Daisy was meant to exude a vintage charm that had a playful touch of irreverence. In comparison, Decadence is supposed to be impressive and Adriana Lima will serve as the spokesperson for the perfume.

According to WWD (subscription needed), the spot will feature the Victoria’s Secret Angel in a boudoir setting “whose decor showcases a rich palette of greens and golds.” Lori Singer, group vice president of global marketing at Coty Inc., explained the meaning behind the scent’s upcoming advert, saying, “It’s about a good girl planning to be decadent. It’s very high quality, opulent, very elegant and sophisticated.”

The plan is that this fragrance will elevate the entire house of Marc Jacobs fragrances to another level. With only a few hours left before this evening’s Met Ball, Lima and Marc Jacobs are set to make a public appearance together to bring more awareness and attention to the upcoming fragrance reveal.
