It’s becoming a trend for larger publications or fashion houses to incorrectly identify celebrities– of an ethnic persuasion. And once again it happened at last night’s MET Gala.

Q-Tip, the Queens bred rapper formerly of the group A Tribe Called Quest, attended the event enjoying the festivities with everyone else. He was spotted with Janelle Monáe and André Leon Talley, so a photographer photographed them but when the picture made it to Vogue.com, the caption was off.

Q Tip Twitter

“We all look alike..,” Tip said in regards to caption of him as Tinie Tempah, the British rapper.

Someone clearly peeped them to the problem, because it was corrected as of mid-morning today. But we continue to shake our heads at the constant bluffs these publications make.

Wonder if it would happened if he was a Caucasian Hollywood actress?
