As Of April 2014 ‘Morning Joe’ Will Now Be Called ‘Morning Oprah’

World domination is a steady process. Oprah Winfrey knows this well. And the next phase she’s taking us through is the morning routine.

Starting April 29 Winfrey’s special blend of teas will be available in Starbucks all over the country. Called the Teavana Oprah Chai Tea, the drink is a blend the mogul worked with Starbucks founder, Howard Schultz on.

“Savory and spicy chai, with its deep flavor, has long been a favorite of mine,” Winfrey said to an audience of shareholders at Wednesday’s annual meeting. “When Howard Schultz offered to have me come into the Starbucks tasting room and create my very own tea blend, I thought that sounded like such a unique opportunity and fun to the tenth power.”

In addition to Starbucks locations, the blend will be available at the company’s new Teavana locations. Proceeds from the sale of the tea will go towards the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girl in South Africa.

Really there’s nothing bad about this, besides the fact that we’ll now be neglecting our caramel macchiatos.
