Clinique Turnaround Skincare Range

Clinique Turnaround Review

I’ve literally just started trying out the products in the Clinique Turnaround range, so this isn’t a full review, more like a little look at the new arrivals and the existing products that make up the Turnaround family.  The Turnaround range is designed to boost radiance and improve overall texture and vitality, to leave skin smooth, refined and glowing.  I’d say it’s probably suitable for most skin types including spot-prone, although anyone with dry to very dry skin will need hydration from other sources.  At the moment I am horrendously, ‘feel like my face is going to crack’ dry, whilst also quite sensitive and spot-prone, so a winning combination all round…

Clinique Turnaround Range Review

I’ll start with the three existing products; a serum, a moisturiser and a mask.  The only product I’m yet to try out of all five in the range is the Turnaround Revitalizing Serum, which is an oil-free treatment designed to optimise cell renewal and give skin a healthy glow.  If you read my blog regularly then you’ll know that the intense version of the Clinique Moisture Surge moisturiser is one of my all-time favourite moisturisers as my skin absolutely loves it.  The Turnaround Overnight Revitalizing Moisturiser is like a charged-up version of the original Moisture Surge – it’s light, hydrating, feels great on the skin and skin looks noticeably smoother the next day.  I’m currently using this alongside the oil at night with a surprisingly noticeable effect on my pigmentation from old spot marks – I’ll keep you posted! Lastly there’s the Turnaround Revitalizing Instant Facial, which is a quick treatment mask that contains very tiny scrubby bits alongside some gentle acids for a very quick double exfoliation – this is a great product if you’re pushed for time as it works really well in the few minutes it’s on.

Clinique Turnaround Oil and Day Moisturiser

Next up are the two new products, the day cream and the oil.  The Turnaround Revitalizing Treatment Oil is a beautifully light oil that will please anyone who hates going to bed with a greasy oil slick of a face as this sinks in very quickly and lacks that thickness that a lot of facial oils have.  I would say this is a particularly good choice for oily and acne-prone skin types who are leaning towards dehydration as I haven’t found any problems with breakouts from any of the range, although in fairness I don’t think I’ve ever broken out with a Clinique product.  Lastly we have the Turnaround Daytime Revitalizing Moisturiser which is another oil-free goody that feels very light and cooling on the skin.  It comes in two shades, Rosy Glow and Golden Glow – the latter of which I have – but to be honest I don’t think the shades make a huge amount of difference as they’re both designed to just give skin a bit of a glowy lift.  I think this is probably my favourite of the bunch as it does quite a few things; adds glow, hydrates, cools, sits well under make-up and is a very good all-rounder.  My second favourite is probably the night cream…you really can’t beat Clinique when it comes to moisturisers! The full Clinique Turnaround range is available now with prices starting at £30.  Check out the range here – link.
