Diane Von Furstenberg Will Begin Taping For New Reality Show

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to work in fashion, other than binge watching “The City” DVDs, now you can with Diane von Furstenberg’s guidance. In the rumor mill for months now, the announcement was made that the designer will have her own show on E! show called “The DVF Project.”

The competitive reality show will challenge contestants to become DVF’s global brand ambassador. A series of marketing, event planning and design challenges will test the girls to see if they have the chops to get the position. Aside from the TV shine, they’ll also get the chance to travel the globe for the show. So basically, everyone wins.

“I am so thrilled to partner with E!,” Diane von Furstenberg told WWD, “and to grant young women the opportunity to become the women they want to be!”

Von Furstenberg serves as an executive producer, but no exact debut date has been released yet.
