We’re not sure when it began, but lip gloss is in the middle of a major comeback. Most of us keep the beauty staple handy for those low key day to day moments, but as of late, we’re seeing a lot of it on the runway and featured in major beauty campaigns.

In fact, big names like Maybelline (“Baby Lips”) and Urban Decay (“Revolution”) are creating glossy versions of their lipsticks as low-maintenance girls covet other ways to make their lip color long lasting.

M.A.C. is the latest to get in on the action with their yet-to-be released “Vamplify” lip lacquer line.

A set of accompanying lip liners will also be released with the glosses from September 3- October 15.
