I finally experienced Rent The Runway for myself during a recent trip to New York City. Last month, I found myself dead in the middle of New York Fashion Week and in need of a fabulous dress for the StyleBlazer Beauty event. Nothing I packed was appealing to me and the last thing I wanted to do was shell out a lot of cash on a designer dress. But, the fact of the matter was, I needed to make an impression and dress the part. Even though the store was quite busy, the staff was organized and very helpful. Within no time, I had a gorgeous dress by Tracy Reese in hand and I was ready to shut it down. The best part of all was returning the dress. I didn’t even have to make my way back to the store before my flight the next day. I simply put the dress into the return packaging they provided and sent it on its way. It was even easier than borrowing a dress from a friend. Next time around, I am going to do the entire process online since there isn’t a location near my home.
