Kendall Jenner on Her Nipple Piercing: ‘I Had the Idea Before Kylie!’

Although the Kardashian/Jenner clan somehow manages to avoid many of the pitfalls of sibling rivalry (it probably helps when you’re all equally wealthy and successful), but Kendall Jenner, 19, can’t help but be a little competitive with sister Kylie, 18. Especially when it comes to things like “Whose idea was it to get her nipple pierced first?”

Kendall is clearing up any timeline confusion stemming from Kylie revealing her piercings prior to Kendall admitting to hers. “I wanted to get the piercing for SO long before Kylie,” Kendall writes in her app. “She did hers and then everyone thought I copied her, but I swear I had the idea first :)” (smiley face hers).

She did, however, give Kylie credit for prepping her for the experience: “I asked all of my friends who have them (and Kylie, too), and they said that it KILLED. But in the end, it really wasn’t that bad,” she said, echoing her earlier sentiments. “Maybe it was that I prepared myself for it to be such an awful experience that in the end I was okay with it?”

Kendall also wants you to know that while she is not that fazed by her hardware, she gets your fascination. “Having my nipple pierced isn’t really something I make a big deal of, but I think people are obsessed with the topic because it seems so unexpected of me,” she says. “Before I even decided to go for it, I just liked showing my nipples through some of my outfits; there’s something understated, yet sexy about it.”

It’s good to have something you believe in, Kendall, so that’s terrific. But how does your mom feel about it? “I don’t even think my mom and I have ever talked about it,” she said. “My sisters were honestly shocked that I did it. Khloé couldn’t believe it!”
