Finally, NFL Apparel Worth Cheering About (It Gets Jamie Chung’s ‘Touchdown’ of Approval, So …)

Are you ready for some football? Though we’re not quite ready to say goodbye to summer, we’re also starting to start putting together our fantasy football lists and get tickets for our teams’ biggest games … which means we’re also already planning outfits for the season. Here to help: NFL Women’s Apparel and Tweens/Juniors, which has tapped some of Hollywood’s biggest football fans — Jamie Chung, Alyssa Milano and Madison Pettis (along with Dascha Polanco, Erin Heatherton and Tika Sumpter, not shown) — to rep their hometown teams in the brand’s latest sidelines styles.

As a San Francisco 49ers fan “all the way,” Jamie Chung said repping her family’s favorite team for the brand’s fall campaign was a no-brainer. “I have so much hometown pride, it’s kind of great,” Chung told PEOPLE. “Back in 2012, I took my dad to the Super Bowl — and we lost, which was heartbreaking — but it was pretty monumental because my dad’s a die-hard Niners fan. As a Korean immigrant growing up in San Francisco during the Niners golden years … it was the one thing that he was able to relate to people with.”

Chung particularly likes this brand’s apparel because it’s both stylish and serious about sports. “[Celeb stylist] Kate Young styled this shoot, which speaks highly of the new merchandise that they have for women’s apparel for NFL — it’s so versatile and cool,” she said. “Ten years ago, the only thing [women] could get was a pink jersey or a pink hat with your team’s logo — and I’m sorry, but I don’t think pink falls into any category for any of the sports teams. Now [NFL Apparel] is coming out with really cute merch that I would definitely integrate into my regular daily wear.”

New York Giants fan Alyssa Milano says comfort is key when it comes to dressing up for the sidelines — even for those miserably cold, dead-of-winter games. “I love to go to games in any of the Touch tops and hoodies, a good pair of slouchy boyfriend cut jeans and a cute sneaker,” the actress told PEOPLE. “If I’m going out after the game, I’ll do a Touch top with a pair of skinny jeans and a great boot or shoe.”

So no face paint or crazy wigs for the star? “Wait. Face paint isn’t cute? Kidding!,” she said, laughing. “I usually go comfy-chic unless it’s a big championship game and then I go comfy-chic-crazy.”

And while they may be too young to claim a favorite team just yet, Milano told PEOPLE that her love for the Giants better be genetic, or she may have a football feud with her two children, Milo and Elizabella, when they get older: “[If] they become Eagles fans, I may need to look for new children,” she joked.

And finally, unlike this season’s other football fan ambassadors, 17-year-old Disney star Pettis claims to have not one but two teams she roots for each year: the Dallas Cowboys and the New England Patriots. “I grew up in Arlington, Texas, which is the home of the Dallas Cowboys, and in Texas, football is literally a way of life — the Cowboys are a dynasty — so they’re my [favorite] NFC team,” she told PEOPLE. “My fave AFC team is the New England Patriots. Since we filmed The Game Plan in Boston, I have a special place in my heart for the Patriots, plus my mom is originally from Massachusetts and I have a lot of relatives there, so she also raised me with a love for the Patriots.”

With two teams to cheer on, we’re sure to see the star rock a variety of looks throughout the sports’ season, including a fun pair of heels for some “extra height,” with the line’s new mesh tops and colorful, intricate nail art.

“I’m a teenage girl who loves fashion, so I definitely go the ‘cute’ route [when I go to games], which is easy to do with all of the options in the tweens/juniors line,” she said.
“[The line] also has nail decals that I’m obsessed with — I love a cool manicure design. And I’ve never done face paint, but maybe I’ll try it if I go to a playoff game!”
