Witney Carson is engaged! Which means she’s got some new bling – and what a ring it is!

The Dancing With the Stars pro’s longtime boyfriend and high school sweetheart Carson Mcallister proposed over the weekend on the beach with a custom designed ring.

The rose gold band features a 2ct Rocky Mountain diamond and halo. Carson proudly showed off the stunning sparkler in the couple’s engagement shots.

“My high school sweetheart popped the question last night in the most perfect, beautiful way,” Carson, 21, told PEOPLE. “He was waiting for me on the beach surrounded by candles. Danced with me while the sun went down and then knelt down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Of course I said yes.”

Mcallister, 23, met teenage Carson in their Utah hometown, and the couple has been together for four years.

The star, who announced the big news on Instagram, Saturday, wore an earthy white floral dress for the special barefoot moment in the sand with her husband-to-be.

Carson previously appeared on season 9 of So You Think You Can Dance and was first promoted to DWTS pro in 2014 after starting off in the troupe. She later nabbed the Season 19 title with partner Alfonso Ribiero.
