Your favorite celebrity crush recently took a break from daddy duties to show face at SXSW, where he not only promoted his directorial debut, but helped facilitate a marriage proposal.
Joined by some of the Lost River cast, including longtime partner Eva Mendes, the 34 year old was caught off guard by an audience member who used the Q&A portion to propose to her longtime girlfriend.
“I think your film is amazing. I’m going to kind of take away from [it for] a second if I can. [I’m going to] ask my girlfriend of 11 years if she’ll marry me,” she boldly proclaimed.
Still unmarried himself, the new father seemed happy to share the spotlight for a major moment. Watch at the 11:30 mark below:
