H&M Is Launching A New Brand, And We Think Its Going To Be Amazing

One of our favorite fast fashion retailers is on a mission to expand its empire – and they’re doing it in a way that has us on the edge of our seats! According to Bloomberg, H&M is looking into new store concepts, with a plan to introduce a brand new label. The only problem is, they’re keeping tight wraps around what that could exactly be.

While the details are pretty scarce, here’s what we do know: the upcoming concept could be launched in 2017, and it will be “completely different from the current retailer’s flagship label” and its sister brands. That means we shouldn’t expect anything similar to the lesser-known names currently sold at the giant – so Weekday, Monki and & Other Stories are all out the window.

Furthermore, the head of H&M’s investor relations, Nils Vinge, also confirmed, “there are some concrete things” being considered for the new endeavor, and one specific department within the retailer is “looking into new things all the time.”

If you ask us, the Swedish label has slowly been taking over within the style industry – especially with recent announcements of Balmain for H&M on the way and their plan to jump into beauty. But like most major news for the brand, we’re sure we’ll be getting a sneak peak of what’s to come really soon.
