Huma Abedin Wears Princess Kate’s Favorite Dress: Who Takes the Crown?

Hillary Clinton may be all about the pantsuits, but her long-time political aide Huma Abedin loves a good sheath dress. And her latest look happens to be one of Princess Kate’s go-to styles.

Huma Abedin wore a dress by British label L.K. Bennett to Tuesday’s Democratic debate. And it wasn’t just any dress. It was the same “Lasa” poppy dress that Kate loves, and as a result, the brand can’t keep it in stock. Abedin selected the fuchsia shade, while Kate’s go-to is the blue. (Kate wore the look last year during her tour of Australia.)

But Kate’s not the first star to wear the dress. Mindy Kaling famously wore it on an episode of her show last year.
“UHH, Miss Duchess Whoever, I WORE this dress last week! What’s next? Kate in my donut print pajama bottoms I mean c’mon,” she jokingly shared on Instagram at the time, along with a photo of her and the stylish royal.
