Katy Perry Gets Her Best Game Face On For ESPN
Katy Perry is gearing up for the most #AMERICA performance of her career, the Super Bowl XLIX. In anticipation for next month’s gig, the pop star appears on the cover of a magazine she probably thought she’d never grace— ESPN the Magazine. The bubbly singer poses alongside Houston Texans’ football player J.J. Watt, shrinking the already tiny singer next to his bulky physique.
Watt won’t be playing the Super Bowl on February 1 and acknowledges, “[Katy’s] playing in a bigger game than I’ve ever gotten to play in. I’m hoping to someday be in those shoes.” However after touring with a 2-hour, 10-minute show for half of 2014, the 12-and-a-half-minute halftime performance seems like a breeze for Katy. “Honestly? I feel like I’ve outdreamt my dream.” “I don’t get nervous about much, but I’ll definitely be a little tingly inside that day.”
We can’t wait to see what Katy has in store for the big show.
