#LFW Runway Recap: Lucas Nascimento’s Fall 2015 Tropical Blast

There was one key phrase that came to mind when viewing the Lucas Nascimento Fall 2015 collection: impeccable jumpsuits – because frankly, the signature separate was the highlight of the range.
As models walked down the runway, it was clear Nascimento had a distinct point of view when it came to his clothes. Making a nod to his Brazilian background, a tropical blast took over the line – with separates like spaghetti strap dresses, oversized outerwear and chic pullovers catching our attention. But along with the playful aesthetic came a more serious aura.
The designer made it a priority to show off his trademark skill: knitwear, accompanied by leather and quilting for layered looks that are the definition of fall. Textured toppers and leather skirts served as the perfect uniform for the woman in the workplace, straying away from the aggressive dressing that most would expect. And the spaghetti strapped jumpsuits proved that Nascimento’s delicate knitting technique couldn’t be compared.
In all, the collection was a substantial one, covering every aspect of the modern woman for a season that calls for style.
