Makeup Monday: Mastering The ‘Natural Look’

Ever since Beyoncé declared she “woke up like this,” we’ve been on the hunt for an easy “no makeup” makeup look.

When it comes to looking au naturale, cakey foundation and clumped lashes are just a few of the beauty snafus you can say goodbye to. Additionally, as contouring and airbrush makeup continue to infiltrate our Instagram feeds, we’re bravely going without for a routine that will make getting ready for work a breeze.

This week, press play on our newest Makeup Monday episode and get ready to bare all:

Products: Make Up For Ever HD Foundation, Artistry Automatic Eyebrow Pencil, Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer (Medium Neutral), Urban Decay Glide On Eye Pencil (“Hustle”), Origins Ginzing MascaraUrban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipstick (“Liar”)

1. Apply foundation in long, even strokes across the skin with an angular makeup sponge.

2. Using a pencil, draw brows that aren’t too structured. I’d also recommend sealing with a brow gel. Be sure to check out our step by step video here.

3. Using a small makeup brush, apply the concealer in small dots under each eye. Blend for a minute or so, making sure you don’t end up with powdery, white spots.

4. Apply just one layer of brown eyeliner along the top lid.

5. Apply mascara in light, feathery strokes.

6. Apply a nude lipstick to bring your ‘no makeup’ look full circle.
