Met Gala 2015: Of Course Celebs Broke the Selfie Ban

He says he’s done with his bad boy phase, but Justin Bieber took a big risk at the Met Gala (and no, we’re not talking about that super fly embroidered suit jacket).

Bieber, 21, broke Vogue‘s rumored ban on selfies at Monday night’s fête, snapping an Instagram with model/actress Cara Delevingne, and later, one of him cuddling up to pop star Lady Gaga. 

Model Behati Prinsloo really played loose with the rules, snapping  a star-studded reflection of a whole bevy of beauties including Delevingne, Zoë Kravitz and Kendall Jenner. She may get off on a technicality, though: Do mirror pics count?

In the end, Madonna proved there’s nothing wrong with asking a passerby to snap a quick photo for you, posing with Katy Perry and the Mother Monster, who seemingly redeemed herself. Somewhere in the China: Through the Looking Glass exhibit, Anna Wintour is whispering to herself, “YAAAAAS, Gaga.”

And of course, Kim Kardashian couldn’t resist one or two … or ten.
