Michelle Obama brought a retro flavor to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C., on Saturday. The fashionable FLOTUS, who is no stranger to drawing attention for her outfits, stood out from the crowd of press and celebrities in a glittering silver dress and curled hair.

The first lady and her husband, President Barack Obama, have been attending the affectionally titled #nerdprom since 2009.
The event is known for its mingling of politicians, celebrities and journalists, and is typically capped off with a humorous roast by both its celebrity host — this year, Saturday Night Live star Cecily Strong — and the president.
