Miley Cyrus’ Best Pasties Ever: Which Pair Should She Bring Back for the VMAs?

We don’t know who to pick in our office pool for Video of the Year (like will Tay’s “Bad Blood” beat Bey’s “7/11”?!), but one thing we’re pretty confident about: Miley Cyrus wearing pasties at some point during her VMAs hosting duties. (Or maybe at EVERY point.) She’s known for rocking some pretty outrageous nipple covers and has even crafted some of her own bedazzled pasties. So to get you even more hyped about Cyrus’ upcoming outfit parade, we rounded up some of her most famous styles.

For an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Miley showed up in a bedazzled cape and trousers set. Underneath the cape? Matching heart pasties — more proof that her collection is exploding right now in prep for the VMAs.

“I would have worn a shirt,” she quipped, before adding, “actually, I wouldn’t have.”

Miley also opened up about her pasty-wearing practices, explaining that she gets all her pasties for cheap on Hollywood Boulevard.

“Hollywood Boulevard is pretty much my entire closet,” she shared. “I’m a vegan and nudist — very eco-friendly.”

But her wardrobe can be a bit high-maintenance at times, as the star has to travel with “a lot of tape.”

And in case you were wondering, pasty removal doesn’t hurt that bad. “It’s like a Band-Aid. Sometimes it will leave the imprint of whatever symbol — like a pot leaf or heart.”

She also favors silver stars, disco balls, ice cream cones and, of course, that time back in April when she welcomed Joan Jett into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with “J”-emblazoned heart stickies on her chest.

She’s also a fan of wearing pasties underneath see-through clothing, like the black circles she rocked under a netted dress at 2013’s iHeart Radio Music Festival or the ice cream cones during NYFW last year.
