As if making the most exciting fashion announcement during the Billboard Music Awards wasn’t enough, now Olivier Rousteing is giving us even more reason to fast forward to November 5.

The Balmain creative director teamed up with H&M for a series of short interviews in light of the anticipated collab, and we get to learn a few interesting facts about Rousteing’s personal vision. During the first installment, the 29-year-old dishes on why he’s the perfect match for H&M, explaining that he represents the company’s target demographic.

“I’m an H&M boy. I mean, I am the H&M generation. I was getting the clothes from H&M, waiting two or three hours to get the clothes – so I know the excitement that can happen to the people in the world,” Olivier says in the video.

And while Balmain has always been an inclusive luxury brand, we’re convinced its connection with the fast-fashion retailer is a major way to introduce its transformation to millennials. “Joining Balmain and H&M is creating an entire nation,” Rousteing continues to explain. “I think the hashtag #HMBalmaination is a symbol of togetherness.”

Check out the teaser video below, as well as a few runway shots from Balmain’s fall 2015 collection on the pages ahead. Who knows, maybe we’ll see something similar once the range makes its big debut.
