If you’re unaware of Mansur Gavriel (major side eye), then sit back while we give you a quick update. The NY-based design label was established in 2012, and ever since it began creating some of the most chic leather bags known to any fashion maven (specifically their bucket bag), the craze for having one has been at an all time high – literally to the point where they’ve been out-of-stock everywhere. Got it? Good.

Well now it seems like we’ve got an explanation to why the Mansur Gavriel fever is so popular. According to Racked, Lyst recently revealed data showing that 56,732 customers have tried to buy a bag from the brand through their site since the beginning of the year. Essentially that boils down to about 288 people fighting over one bag every time it becomes available.

The well known handbags are 30 times more popular than any other bucket bag offered on Lyst – which basically means there’s a slim chance to none that we’ll be able to score one any time soon. But after checking the Mansur Gavriel site, we’re now aware that the leather goods will be restocking in August, so maybe there is some hope for us.
