If you’re addicted to online shopping (and social media) as much as we are, then this news will definitely make your day. Taking a huge step into the world of consumerism, Twitter has finally introduced a shopping feature. So yes, the status of your credit card balances are officially at the tip of your fingers!

Bringing together a range of 41 brands (Goop, The Ellen Show an more), the application now allows users to browse product pages with an option to buy (pretty convenient, right?). Each collection functions as a real-time storefront in a sense, with the brand’s newest additions located at the top of the page. But unlike traditional online shopping, the new feature gives users the chance to be social – with the option to peruse through tweets and reviews about the products as well.

According to ReCode, the new feature is a much more expansive one compared to Twitter’s previous shopping experiments that were limited to promoted tweets. But the social media giant announced in a blog post that the new venture is an effort to encourage users to spend more.

And if you ask us, the application definitely has us ready to swipe (or type our credit card number in, in this case).

Take a peek at some of the brands already on board with Twitter’s new feature on the pages ahead.
