#NYFW Runway Recap: Mara Hoffman Fall 2015 Channels The Spirit Of Luke Skywalker

On Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14), womenswear designer Mara Hoffman unleashed her intergalactic and boho chic Fall 2015 collection at Lincoln Center.
Inspired by Luke Skywalker and Europe’s wild men, the pieces boast a sundry mix of geometric embellishments, chiffon appliques, and Grecian-style gold patterns.
Thomas Osborn and Adriana Papaleo of Catwalk by TIGI created gorgeous braided crowns for each model, which tied perfectly into the Star Wars theme and overall wild spirit of the runway.
We were personally impressed most by the oversized outerwear and flowing skirts; if only we had them to survive this polar vortex!
