See Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe’s 3.5-Carat ‘Dream’ Engagement Ring

When it comes time for the last two suitors on The Bachelorette to pick out engagement rings for the final rose ceremonies, emotions run the gamut. (That also applies for the guys choosing rings for their final two ladies on the The Bachelor, for that matter.) Some are all nerves (see Jake Pavelka), while others are sweetly excited (see Chris Soules). But how did the winner of Kaitlyn Bristowe’s hand and heart fare when it was his time to choose a ring?

According to celebrity jeweler Neil Lane, season 11 winner Shawn Booth was a cool customer as he selected a ring for Bristowe.

“Shawn was very self-assured and there was no doubt in his mind about what he was about to do,” says Lane, who has seen many bachelors through this situation. “He was not nervous at all and was like, ‘That’s the ring, that’s the girl and we are moving on together.’ He was certain he was the guy.”

While Booth looked at a handful of options, he quickly honed in on a stunning 3.5-carat diamond and platinum ring. Set with a central round, brilliant-cut diamond and surrounded by 160 smaller diamonds in an entwined band, the hand-crafted piece was “her dream ring”, says Lane, who adds that Bristowe always wanted a round stone.

“I created this ring for her and I was thrilled when Shawn picked it. He knew what he wanted.” And that included Bristowe, who clearly won Booth’s heart, says Lane. “Shawn was raring to go. He knew they had a powerful connection and he seemed certain she was the love of his life. He just knew he was the one.”
