When First Lady Michelle Obama starting tucking away her bangs last year, not long after their big reveal, it was clear she was annoyed with the style. She even mentioned them in a few interviews, saying it was “hard to make speeches with hair in your face!”

But her bangs have been front in center recently, making their most glamorous appearance at the 2014 White House Correspondents’ Association on Saturday. For the press and celebrity-filled event, FLOTUS wore a grey tulle Marchesa dress from the Fall 2013 collection.

The hair and dress made her stand out from the rest of the attendees, complimenting her famous arms and glowing skin. We’ll likely be seeing more of this hairstyle as it seems to fit her perfectly.
