To sum up the theme of the eccentric scene that was London Fashion Week, it would have to be “more is more”! It was clear from day one that London was serious about prints and vibrant colors all the while setting new trends and reviving old ones with a twist. The no-holds-barred attitude didn’t let up as it was evident in the entire round of LFW. In fact, the “more is more/bigger is bigger” spirit is evident in the trends we spotted over the course of the five days.

Blue

Like NYFW, blue was a prominent color on the LFW runways. While baby blue was the preferred hue in NY, London opted for a more royal shade. David Koma, Richard Nicoll, Giles, Holly Fulton, Peter Pilotto, Topshop Unique and a host of other designers all featured an electric cobalt blue
