Last September, designers surprised us as metallic clothing was seen walking down the spring 2014 runways of Lanvin, Haider Ackermann and Altuzarra to name a few. Not just gold and silver metallics, but in orange, purple, pink and blue as well. Since designers decided to take it up a notch with metallic clothing for spring, it’s only our duty to bring you a few options to test drive. Before you jump right into the trend, keep in mind that there’s a couple rules to this game. Keep things minimal to not look too over-the-top. If you decide to wear a metallic jacket, make sure your clothing and accessories are neutral not necessarily in color so nothing clashes. If you do decide to fancy things up a bit, go for a black, navy or purple metallic. They’re not as bright, but we’d still recommend to keep things minimal.
