Vanessa Hudgens Has Her PhD in Hand Cast Accessorizing

Vanessa Hudgens‘ MTV Video Music Awards look included a ton of glittering accessories (she even matched her 19-year-old sister!), but none were more captivating than her gold-accented hand cast! The star broke her finger in early August and has been making it her main accessory all month-long.

Three weeks ago, she shared a pic on Instagram of her broken ring finger (warning, it’s a bit graphic!) and ever since, she’s been keeping us in the loop on her recovery. A week later, she shared her very Rocky-esque cast with a serious selfie.

Then Hudgens took to the streets sporting various shades that matched her outfits. She started out with a purple cast paired with her chic black day dress and accessories. Then when she was feeling a little ’90s throwback with her cropped tee and shredded denim, she matched her cast to the pink tie-dye shirt wrapped around her waist.

She even took her skills to the red carpet, showing off a mustard-colored covering (matching her halter Galia Lahav gown) at the Industry Dance Awards and Cancer Benefit Show.

And finally, she accented her floral appliqué Naeem Khan gown at the VMAs with a glittering skin-tone covering over her bandage.
