Victoria Beckham Donates Designer Dresses To Raise Money For ‘Save The Children’

Victoria Beckham continues to make headlines, as the 40-year-old designer has cleverly donated her daughter’s clothes to charity.
The mother of four — three sons, Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 12 and Cruz, 10 — put together 25 complete outfits from her three-year-old daughter Harper’s wardrobe to raise money for ‘Save the Children’ through their Fashion Saves Lives sale. “I am delighted to be supporting the wonderful work of Save the Children through the Fashion Saves Lives Sale,” Victoria said in a released statement. “As a mother, I passionately believe that all children, wherever they live, have the right to a happy, healthy life. Everyone out there can do their part by purchasing or donating, ensuring children all around the world have the opportunity of a brighter future.”
Items include pieces from designers such as Ralph Lauren, Stella McCartney, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Roksanda Ilincic, Chloe, and Charlotte Olympia. All money raised from the purchases of said outfits will go towards Save the Children’s work to end child deaths from preventable causes by 2030. The outfits will be available to be bought at Mary Portas’ Living & Giving shop in Primrose, Hill, north London, from 10:00am on Thursday, June 18. Victoria Beckham has continuously used her status and name to become one of the world’s most famous philanthropists. In August last year, she sold more than 600 items from her own wardrobe for charity.
Prices will start at £250 for a dress and shoes and go up to £500 for complete outfits. Other stars such as supermodel Kate Moss, fashion designer Jade Jagger, and Beckham’s former bandmate Melanie Chisholm are said to be donating to the sale.
Beckham’s charitable work towards saving some of the 17,000 children who die each day from preventable causes is admirable, surely. Interested parties who wish to raise a nice sum to help the babies can purchase these outfits and individual items for 10 days beginning on June 18.
