What Tyra Banks And Chrissy Teigen Say About Their ‘Beef’

Tyra Banks and her rivalry with Naomi Campbell was notorious within the fashion industry, as the young upstart was seemingly taking the fire from the wily vet. Now, in a case of happenstance, it is rumored that the same is happening with Chrissy Teigen hinted as the new mortal enemy.
Page Six is reporting that there is drama going on behind the scenes of Tyra Banks’ new show The FAB Life — specifically between her and outspoken Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen. The photogenic twosome are currently filming together, but seems that the beautiful duo are “barely speaking” after the pilot was filmed last year. “You never put two supermodels on the same show together,” said a TV insider of the rift. “Especially when one’s more than 10 years younger than the other.”
Banks, 41, and Teigen, 29 — the latter who is wed to R&B singer John Legend — are “so different” according to the TV insider.
Brash and ready to say the first thing that comes to her mind is how Teigen is described, while Banks, an industry veteran, thinks about what to say and even how to move. The FAB Life is tailored as a lifestyle chat show with Banks at the helm, such in the vein as The Real and The View. The program has sold to 24 out of the top 25 markets according to Disney/ABC Home Entertainment and Television Distribution. Banks will lead a panel of diverse lifestyle experts which included Yahoo Style Editor-in-Chief Joe Zee, interior designer Lauren Makk, and YouTube star Leah Ashley.
The TV insider hinted that ABC encouraged Banks to cast Teigen as a “social media expert,” but also said that viewers should expect for her and Chrissy to “co-host many segments together.” Already syndicated, The FAB Life is slated to debut on ABC stations in the fall on September 14, but has yet to start filming. An opposing source, who spoke on conditions of anonymity, says that it is a “love fest” between Tyra and Chrissy. “If Tyra had a problem with Chrissy, she wouldn’t be on the show. They’re friends, there’s no drama.”
