Contouring is the ultimate makeup trick to accentuate your cheekbones and slim your nose, but when it goes wrong, it goes very wrong.

Kylie Jenner is the latest victim of bad contouring. The youngest of the Kardashian clan was in Cannes when she photographed and the paparrazi flashbulbs only put a spotlight on her makeup day. While usually Jenner is the best at doing her own makeup, and “plumping” her lips, the contouring was way to light under her eyes and chin, while her bronzer was two shades too dark on her cheeks and forehead. Contour is supposed to look natural, so when it is very obvious you have makeup on, you have failed.

It also happened to the reality star earlier in the year, but when she tried to contour her girls.

However, Jenner is not the only celeb to suffer the major beauty fail. Even the queen of contouring Kim Kardashian has had a bad day, and she has a whole glam squad!

From Angelina Jolie to Taraji P. Henson, bad contouring happens to good people all the time. Let this serve as a reminder that while contouring can work miracles, you must tread lightly and don’t forget to blend, blend, blend.
