Being bohème or looking bohemian is more than just a look. It’s a lifestyle.
The French used to describe artistic individuals who live unconventional lifestyles has metamorphosed into a clear image in our modern minds. We see someone who’s very carefree, maybe long hair, definitely hippie. We see fringe, loose denim maybe cozy knits and earth tones.
Unfortunately, the nature of this aesthetic isn’t necessary compatible with cold weather when distressed denim won’t shield against the cold. So, what does one do when they want to hold onto their bohemian style?
