David Beckham Begins His Mini Fashion Empire With H&M
It started as an underwear collection with H&M, but David Beckham’s relationship with the Swedish brand has grown into much more.
Beckham will be curating his favorite menswear pieces from the retailer’s Modern Essentials collection, as reported by WWD. Modeled by the 39-year-old, the spring 2015 collection will have jackets, sweats and shirts for the warmer weather.
Due to launch Mar 5, the collaboration goes hand-in-hand with the David Beckham Bodywear line, that has loungewear, henleys, raglan-sleeved shirts, crewnecks and a jersey vest. Beckham, who’s wife opened her first store last fall and who’s son is modeling consistently, is surrounded by fashion. He recently starred in adidas’ Superstar campaign along with Pharrell Williams and Rita Ora.
As noted by WWD:
Beckham has been busy of late. As reported, in December 2014 he and his business partner Simon Fuller inked a joint venture deal with Li & Fung spin-off Global Brands to drive the development of the Beckham brand and create global labels in partnership with other sports and entertainment personalities.
We’re sure with a fashionable wife behind him, there’s only one direction the former soccer star is going.
