Beyond The Sand: How To Get Beach Hair That Lasts

If we’re going to be honest, beach hair is that one style everyone struggles to achieve. Like a “no makeup” makeup look, making your hair look undone usually requires more time than we can handle with heating tools, curl creams, hair dryers and everything under the sun.
I don’t blame anyone who eventually gives up and throws their tired tresses into a top knot or ponytail. If you’re not easily defeated, there are a few tips to keep in mind when going for those effortless beach waves.
*Healthy hair is happy hair- Keep your tresses moisturized before and after styling. Additionally, invest in a deep conditioner for when you spend copious hours in the sun.
*Wet is better than dry- Stay away from the heating tools! They’ll do more damage than you think. It’s best to start with wet hair and apply a texturizing spray after.
*Twist, twist, twist- If you have pin straight locks, consider twisting the strands overnight (with a sea salt spray) to guarantee waves.
