Brittny Gastineau’s Clothing Line Is Here – Get a Backstage Peek at Her First HSN Appearance!

Kim Kardashian’s longtime bestie, Brittny Gastineau, is a beauty blogger, TV personality and now, clothing designer with her own HSN collection — packed with L.A.-perfect pieces (yes, there will be jumpsuits). We caught up with Gastineau at her first HSN appearance to get a backstage glimpse and hear about the new line.

Though not a stranger to the HSN stage (she and her mom Lisa debuted a jewelry line together in 2011) this was the first time she was at it on her own. “I usually always have my mom as support, but she was back in L.A. with my sick dog, Frankie Sinatra,” Gastineau tells PEOPLE. She rallied, though, despite describing the experience as a little intimidating. “I will definitely say going live on TV in front of 90 million homes was the scariest, but most fun experience,” she says.

Gastineau credits the fun to working with longtime HSN host, Colleen Lopez, and the models. “I loved that I could walk onstage and talk to the models to see how they were wearing and accessorizing each piece,” she says. (Said pieces include on-trend dresses, printed caftans, wide-leg jumpers and bodycon designs in bright shades.)

And if you’ve ever wondered how HSN hosts fill the whole hour, Gastineau dishes that says the whole thing flew by once she put her “mind into focus” (noting that the sales-tracking monitor can be a major distraction).

Next up for Gastineau and her HSN team? She’s hoping for a makeup line for her fans, which makes sense considering her lifestyle blog, Eye on Glam, gives helpful tutorials like how to achieve this high-impact look.
