Drake Went Off On An Instagram Follower Who Criticized His Style

Mr. Aubrey Graham has earned the title “Mr. Sensitive” time and time again by his own doing. He’s had some pretty sappy moments (Marvin’s Room, anyone?), but this incident is probably among his top ten most sensitive moments.

Tumblr user MYKZ posted this gem to his tumblr a few months back and the good folks over at Complex recently unearthed the not-to-be-missed gem. Three months ago, the Champagne Papi posted a photo on Instagram of himself at what seemed to be a lenient VIP section (shoes on the couch, though?) at a nightclub. He was wearing the standard trendy-rapper fare of denim-on-denim with a contrasting white snapback, hoody, and sneakers matched with a “I ain’t got no worries” grin.

The post received thousands of likes and a good share of comments, however, one in particular seemed to catch Drake’s eye. In the depths of the comment section, Instagram user @moonlitgurl chirped, “Wow his style sucks but his music is great so does it even matter.”

Drake was clearly feeling some type of way because he swooped in and, without @ mentioning the user’s name, said, “Yeah damn my style sucks you’re right…I should start wearing men’s Giuseppe shoes with the gold buckles so I can be more swag in 2014. I apologize to all my fans for not wearing more Giuseppe.”

Damn Drake. If it makes you feel any better, we love you with or without Giuseppes with gold buckles. Your 2014 swag has been upgraded just fine without them.
