Finding a dream bag –stylish, spacious, practical– is harder than finding a fireworks vendor after Fourth of July. Especially if you’re in a situation that requires you to pack light.

With so many festivities occurring in the summer (festivals, concerts, vacations, etc), you want to make sure your personal belongings are right where you need them when you need them. Digging through a giant tote will only hold you up and make you lose things at the bottom of the bag. And while small purses are on trend and always an option, fanny packs–also know as “bum bags” are making their way back on the scene.

There’s nothing worse than carrying a shoulder bag for hours at a time, only to have a sore neck by the end of the day. Since wearing a fanny pack would be similar to wearing a belt, you won’t have to worry about any pain no matter how long you decide to keep it on. The only thing you’ll have to be aware of is packing the right items since the small room will be limiting.
