IKEA Hosting First Fashion Show (And You’re Invited)

Your favorite furniture store is getting into the fashion month spirit with a fashion show of their own.

Ikea’s first ever fashion show will be a collaboration with fashion designers Katie Eary and Martin Bergstrom, who created two home good collections. According to Racked, Eary will be presenting a collection called “Giltig” with a dinner party theme complete with aprons, dinnerware and lamp shades in the designer’s “signature bold, colorful and street-influenced style.” Translated Giltig can mean valid, current or effective.

On the other hand, Bergstrom’s collection, “Svartan,” which means “black,” is a collection of bed sheets, rugs and glassware in you guessed it shades of black, white and grey. Inspired by India, the designer looked at his heritage “through a modern lens.”

The show, which airs today, September 29, will livestream at 1:30 p.m. EST on YouTube, which means we are all invited. The best part: both designer collections will be available to purchase in 2016.

Now all we are missing are the Swedish meatballs.
