Lady Gaga Is Back to Her Old (Wacky) Style Ways – and Bringing Them to the Airport

Just last week we noted Lady Gaga‘s out-of-this-world style turnaround. While she was promoting her new show American Horror Story: Hotel, she went totally old-school glam, wearing elegant ladylike day dresses and classic round-shoulder sleeve coats (read: totally un-Gaga). But now that the show premiered (to an anticipated scary start), Gaga’s back to her typically Gaga style ways — and debuting them all at the airport!

Here’s how we know she’s fully embracing her unique fashion choices once again. Traveling is usually a time stars reserve for wearing jeans, t-shirts and even onsies, but yesterday Gaga opted for a long-sleeve, collared red-and-white Jonathan Saunders dress at LAX, with matching red pumps, a wide-brim hat and white square-framed shades.

She departed from JFK airport in another travel-ready ensemble — a ruched blush cocktail dress accessorized with an oversize pink fur coat with matching shawl. The singer topped it all off with a long platinum blonde wig, bright green heels and winged sunnies. (Anyone else getting “Poker Face” vibes from her hair?)

While Gaga’s definitely not a sweats-and-neck-pillow type of traveler, her airport style was a bit more prim and proper last week. She landed in JFK from Chicago over the weekend wearing a ladylike green structured coat with a matching forest green head scarf, accessorized with tinted emerald shades, a classic handbag and sleek nude pumps. And last week, she was spotted leaving LAX in a gorgeous beaded gown featuring a thigh-high slit and shiny gold platforms. (Only Gaga can make a gown work at the airport.)
