Leven Rambin’s Wedding Dress Details: ‘I Felt Like a Bride from a Cake Topper!’
True Detective actress Leven Rambin tied the knot to True Blood‘s Jim Parrack [insert your own “true love” joke here] on October 11. Her strapless lace-detailed gown was so classically beautiful, we needed to hear the entire wedding dress shopping story — and luckily, the new bride was happy to share.

The newlywed said it took some time to find her ultimate dream dress. “I searched high and low for something that was classic, classy, but still flattering and sexy,” the bride tells PEOPLE. “Not until I found this Suzanne Neville dress did I find a perfect combination of all the things I was looking for.”

There were three things in particular that drew her to the design. “The neckline was unlike any I had seen on a wedding dress, and the corset was exquisite. I soon realized Suzanne Neville is known for her corset-making,” she explains. “The lace, silk and tulle bunching at the hip gave it a high-fashion feel to me that was unique [from] all the other dresses I’d seen. I just loved how all three fabrics draped on top of one another in the front of the dress. Even with the beautiful details, over all, it was simple and elegant and the quality of design and execution spoke for itself.”
But what really sealed the deal was that feeling she got when she stepped into it. “When I put it on, I felt like a bride from a cake topper, and knew immediately it was the one.”
She made the wedding announcement on Instagram with a intimate snap of their wedding bands. She showed off her cutout Lara’s Jewelry band design saying it reminded her “of a wreath or a crown.” To compliment Leven’s ring, Parrack’s IV Karats band actually has his bride’s married initials engraved inside.
The couple are definitely still in that honeymoon phase, posting adorable (can’t-keep-their-hands-off-each-other) photos together on Wednesday.
“It was the most fun, beautiful, spiritual experience we’ve ever had,” says Rambin about her wedding day. Added Parrack, “All the people we love immediately loved each other and danced the night away.”
Rambin shared a shot of the “mosh pit of love and joy” (and yes, if you thought you spotted Shia LaBeouf dancing, your eyes aren’t deceiving you — he served as a groomsman).
