Marchesa Has a New Bridal Capsule Collection, Which Engaged Celebs Should Wear The Gowns?

When it comes to celebrity nuptials, one thing is certain: You can never go wrong with a Marchesa wedding gown. (See: Blake Lively, Behati Prinsloo and Molly Sims.) So when the designer released sketches from its new bridal capsule collection for St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, we immediately started thinking of all the recently engaged stars who’d look perfect in the designs. See the matches we made for Lady Gaga, Sofia Vergara, FKA twigs and The Bachelor‘s Whitney Bischoff below!

Like the gorgeous heart-shaped ring fiancé Taylor Kinney gave her, you know Lady Gaga‘s dress is sure to make a statement. That’s why this cap-sleeve confection with a dramatic peplum train is pure perfection. She does love a good peplum, after all. Plus it’s designed to represent New York City, Gaga’s hometown. (Each of the four dresses are inspired by hot-spot destinations for the resort.) Meant to be? We think so.

Considering Sofia Vergara is the absolute queen of the mermaid gown (take a peek here, here and here for proof), we can’t imagine she’d stray away from her tried-and-true signature for her nuptials with Joe Manganiello.

FKA twigs doesn’t quite strike us as a by-the-books bride. After all, she reportedly wants to marry Robert Pattinson somewhere “low-key” like a pub. So something princess-y is just not an option. A better match? This breezy, off-the-shoulder gown inspired by Mexico’s Punta Mita beachfront village — the epitome of chill.

And finally, nothing would look better on The Bachelor winner Whitney Bischoff (or match her insanely beautiful engagement ring from Chris Soules!) than a traditional gown. This body-hugging number with a sweeping train is a clear winner.
