Next Tuesday (May 4), America’s sweetheart Jennifer Lawrence will co-host the annual Met Gala, whose 2015 theme is “Chinese Whispers: Tales of the East in Art, Film and Fashion.”
With a guest list that includes everyone from Kim Kardashian to Blake Lively and countless designers, you can be sure the celebs will deliver looks that are both memorable and dramatic. Although the list of VIPs tends to remain stagnant, one thing that constantly evolves is the overall style trends each year.
Ten years ago, the theme was “The House of Chanel” and boy, was the red carpet so 2005. The Olsens were rocking a color other than black, Tom Ford had a thing for truck driver shades and Diddy may have still been going by “Puff Daddy.”
