This week, bright colors were the fashion rule to live by.

Everyone from Charlize Theron to Jenna Dewan Tatum left their LBDs at home, and opted for bright oranges, bold patterns and even brighter makeup.

This summer, its about embracing the colorful and leaving the dark and somber colors in your closet until fall. Whether it was Theron’s pink and yellow ruffled mini, or Amy Poehler’s striped body con dress, it was a bright week in fashion.

And don’t forget about Cara Delevingne, who is continuing on her “Paper Towns” press tour, and slaying each stop along the way with her model friends.
